What we'll be doing on retreat

Your home for the week is Camp Ferncrest, nestled in the coastal pines of Sedgwick, Maine — just 50 minutes from Bar Harbor and the iconic cliffs of Acadia National Park. This hidden gem blends the raw beauty of coastal Maine with the comfort of modern glamping.

Wake up to the smell of salty air, sip coffee beneath the trees, and unwind each night by the fire pit under the stars. Your cozy glamping dome becomes the perfect basecamp for both adventure and relaxation — whether you’re hiking Cadillac Mountain at sunrise, picking wild blueberries, or savoring fresh lobster rolls in town.

Each day unfolds at a gentle pace, balancing exploration with ease. Expect locally sourced meals where food is part of the experience — from camp-style breakfasts and picnic lunches to dinners out on the town featuring the best coastal flavors of Maine.

Move through yoga classes by the sea, under the full moon, and inside the warmth of your dome on cooler mornings. Explore iconic hikes like Beehive, Ocean Path, and Cadillac Mountain. Spend beach days lounging on Sand Beach or visiting Thunder Hole Beach, then head into the lively town of Bar Harbor to discover local shops, live music, and hidden gems that make Maine so special.

Every moment — from slow mornings and seaside meditations to moonlit fireside circles — is designed to reconnect you with nature, community, and yourself.

Everything is completely optional. Don't want to do something on retreat? We'll have a full list of alternate, nearby activities for you to choose from. you can also stay back & enjoy our cozy camp accommodations, including a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, & private firepits.

“This retreat helped me ground myself. Life is fast and stressful and sometimes you need to stop and take everything in and look inward. I think this experience really helped me figure out what I want in life and what I don't. This retreat actually helped me make a step toward going to school for something that i have been thinking and talking about for years. I also made such incredible friends whose friendships invaluable to me. If someone were considering going on one of these retreats I would say absolutely do it. It's a great way to step out of your comfort zone and release control for a moment. Everything is handled, you're guided along the way, and you can meet the best people who make you feel like you belong.”
